Puppies at DRYWOOD are always born and raised in the house, and handled from birth.

They are played with by my three grandbabies, ages  9, 7,  and 5. Socialized to the max, we take the pups to town, give them rides in the car, let them play with cats.

They also are taught a few manners, like "Quite", " No Bite","Puppy come".

We do as much as we can with our puppies so that can do anything their new owners think they should do. Our puppies make great show dogs, obedience dogs, working dogs, or just being your best buddy!

DRYWOOD puppies are all sold on contracts, are all currents on their vaccinations, they are put on heartworm preventative if we are in heartworm season, are all vet checked , BAER tested (hearing), Microchipped, before going to their new homes.

The Parents of these puppies have had their testings done, and have super temperaments. Most are finished champions.  We do live on a farm with a cow calf operation, and my dogs do help me with the chores, I do not do much herding trialing, but our farm dog Danny does have his AKC PT title. We also have Dairy Goats and Horses.

After almost a 7 year wait, we now have puppies by CH SILVER HILLS ACE IN THE HOLE. Ace was bred to his Great Granddaughter Zipper, DRYWOOD'S SIPPEN TENN WHISKEY , on May 21, 2008 7 beautiful puppies, both red and blue were born. These puppies are obligate B for PRCD.

Ace was PRCD tested in May of 2002, his blood was sent in with the FIRST 20-20 clinic for our breed, and we got the disappointing results that Ace was affected with PRCD, so at that time I did not have any bitches I wanted or was able to breed him to, so he did not sire a litter until now, his Great Granddaughter is the bitch I was looking for to breed him too. Ace is 11 years old now, and still going strong, Zipper almost had her puppies on her 3rd Birthday, (5-20-05)
